Grow as a Leader

You're designed by God to be a leader; we'll develop your leadership competencies.

You're Designed to be a Leader

Jesus commands his followers to make disciples. He sent the Holy Spirit to empower us to do this, and the Bible is the instruction manual.

This means that you are designed to be a leader, and God himself has given you everything you need to flourish in your leadership.

Leadership is a Journey With Different Destinations

God's designed you to be a leader. Minimally we're all called to lead ourselves. But, chances are, you are leading others. It may be at home, in the workplace, or discipling another person.

God's call may lead you to increase your levels of leadership both with Branch Life and the rest of your life. We're committed to helping you grow and developing your leadership competencies no matter how high or far you go.

Branch Life Leadership Pipeline

We've designed a pipeline process that will advance you to the appropriate level of leadership development. Our pipeline has five levels.

  1. Lead Self (Team Member/Group Member)
  2. Lead Others (Leader)
  3. Lead Leaders (Coach)
  4. Lead Ministries (Director)
  5. Lead Church (Oversight Team)

Our Equip Classes will develop your competencies to lead yourself.

When you are ready to lead others, submit your leadership application.

Intentional Development Process

Branch Life utilizes a specific leadership development strategy to help you grow as a leader.

We commit to...

  • PREPARE new leaders through intentional APPRENTICESHIP
  • EQUIP existing leaders through HUDDLES
  • INSPIRE all leaders through CONFERENCES

How We Onboard New Leaders

We want to get you started on the right foot. In summary, our process for helping you lead well from the beginning is three steps.

  1. Apply
  2. Assess and Apprentice
  3. Celebrate and Launch

Each of our teams has five ministry-specific competencies that you will work through with an existing leader. Your complete commitment to the role doesn't happen until after the apprentice program finishes. That way, you can have a good understanding of the role before you get started.

There are plenty of exit points built into the process, so if it's not the right role, we'll keep working with you to find what God wants you to do.
